KRATOS AZI-GAMMA provides the highest quality, and the highest value azimuthal gamma solution ideally suited for unconventional reservoirs. With 4 times the crystal volume of an industry standard system, the imaging provides the clarity required for real time geosteering workflows to optimally place the well bore with minimal tortuosity. Our azi-gamma sensors include a heavy tungsten alloy shield which provides a narrow aperture to support a true 16-sector sharp image capable of distinguishing thin beds which are often smaller than the hole size.

KRATOS BULK GAMMA radiation detectors feature a scintillation crystal with 4 times the volume and sensitivity of competing probe-based tools which in turn supports 4 times the drilling ROP. Kratos, additionally, offers high resolution bulk natural gamma ray detectors as stand-alone sensor modules. All KRATOS gamma products sensor modules are fully compatibility with today’s commercial probe-based MWD systems.
